Been a While...

I haven't written a post in a while, because I've hit a writing wall. lol When I first started this, I had so many ideas...and I still do. The problem, that I've found, is my ideas are super short. What I mean is I can write a few paragraphs and then I'm lost. I feel like it isn't a complete thought because I've been unable to write more than a few paragraphs.

I have been super busy around the Homestead, and am constantly learning new things. I have finally perfected my homemade french fries (*hint* it's the boiling that makes them the best). I've made a ton of new dishes, learned new techniques, and even done new things with my chickens and greenhouse.

Homesteading is a constant learning process. I'm constantly learning...researching...having lightbulb moments. It has been so much fun for me. I have been trying to juggle everything, and still have time to crochet and relax.

I'm going to try to start getting back into writing, but it definitely won't be as often, or as long as they were. I ran across another problem which put me in a rut, so to speak. The website I use for my blog only allows so much memory for pictures without paying a subscription, which I'm sure you know can get expensive. I want to include pictures of what I'm doing and talking about in each post so it has been hard for me to figure all of that out. My husband suggested shrinking my picture file size so that I am not taking up so much space, and I will be doing that soon. Which means going back and editing each photo and putting it back up on the site; it's going to take me some time to accomplish.

For now, just know that I'm doing the best that I can, and that I will be back soon with more adventures and new ways to do things. And hopefully some new babies to add to the family, baby chicks that is. lol
