Struggling with Crochet

I've been crocheting for almost 5 years now, and I have come so far in such a short amount of time. But lately I've been struggling with what to make. And it's not because of loss of motivation. I absolutely love crocheting. Sometimes I crochet so much that my carpal tunnel flares really badly and then I'm in so much pain that I can't crochet for days on end. Which is terrible, because then I'm at a loss as to what to do.

What I've been struggling with, is what to make and sell. I've tried so many different things and nothing is selling. Unless you count family and my best friend and her mom. I haven't sold anything on my Etsy store, and that has been open for over 2 years now. I've looked through blog post after blog post on the internet to see what sells, and apparently it sells for everyone else, but not for me. I've been told by some that maybe I should get into the craft vendor circuit. And while yes, I've thought about it, it also means not being home every weekend. However, spending weekends doing craft fairs means missing out on family time. There has to be a different way.

I have made everything from coasters to headbands. I've made Swiffer sweeper pads, and mop pads, both work great, I use them myself instead of constantly buying new ones that just get thrown in the trash. I've made blankets; small, baby, lap blankets, and king size bed blankets. I've made shawls of every color, pattern and design. But still nothing sells. At one point I thought my prices were too high so I lowered them. Nope, that didn't work. So I changed them back so that I could still make a profit. Then I started offering free shipping, and that hasn't helped either. Honestly, I have no idea what else to do.
